Overview of the agenda for war-affected children

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict has issued a report which gives an overview of the agenda for war-affected children, highlights the progress that has been achieved and describes a campaign for the enforcement of existing international child protection norms and standards on the ground (A/60/335). The report states that "in spite of the tangible progress that has been made, the situation for children in situations of conflict remains grave and unacceptable."
